Wolff, however, is able to capture my attention with these three otherwise unremarkable characters, and keep it throughout the story. He garners my sympathy for these mundane men, and keeps me pondering over this story long after I have finished it.

And secondly it has some sentimental ties and pause-like moments where the reader really needs to hold on and THINK.
