I used to use ufile. Then they changed theri server and you cannot access anything. Their customer support is pathetic. They don't understand anyting. No One calls you back.

Received a promo email for UFile and it was definitely , still have the email , followed the link to purchase it, received a code for the version. Several emails, hours on the phone, user forum - all just waste of time.

I used the software in previous years. It's OK, not great last year I had to download and send a couple of less common forms directly from the CRA site as they were not included in the program. Have to agree; never had a problem in previous years, the occasional question was answered promptly and accurately. May be time to switch to TurboTax……. It can indeed take weeks to get a reply, which doesn't help you at all, when you'd like an answer within a reasonable amount of time. While the software has gotten a bit better of the past couple years, if you need help - you're out of luck.

They have an email that you can send your questions and complaints to - but all you get is automated responses that do not help and just add to your frustration. Apparently there are a bunch of people locked out right now. I'm not sure if this is System wide or not, but it seems ufile is trying to hide the severity of the problem, and ignoring requests for help. It's telling people they have the wrong password and not letting them do anything about it.

Oh, you can try resetting your password, but then they ask you for your challenge word or phrase which was never set up. Good luck with that. Their tax forms are no very clearly explained. When you click on the? Worse than that; the "chat" help line, is NEVER active and merely sends a support request to ufile to which you have a snowballs chance in hell of ever getting a response.
